Avaya Expands Video Solutions to Deliver Seamless Connectivity

Scopia Videoconferencing Room Systems

Avaya Scopia XT7100 room videoconferencing system supports H.265 video coding that enables efficient use of bandwidth with 50 percent lesser than H.264 High Profile systems. With this, the video quality can be raised up to 1080P at 60fps. The company also upgrades its Scopia XT4300 solution to deliver HD videoconferencing for small to midsized conference rooms with multiple features at affordable price.

Scopia videoconferencing systems now support wireless connectivity to share any content from laptop. The new solution empowers mobile users by providing seamless connection between company’s Scopia soft client on their mobile device and a room system to start conference on smartphone, laptops, tablets, PCs and desktops with full 1080p video quality.

Video Streaming and Recording Enhancement

Scopia platform upgrades video streaming and recording to allow users to broadcast video meetings to large number of audiences up to 100,000 viewers with recording in full HD which can be accessible through any video site.

Video Collaboration and Media Stations

Avaya introduces Avaya H175 Video Collaboration Station to facilitate HD video camera and seven inch HD touchscreen display with WIFI and Bluetooth connectivity and access to Outlook calendar, contacts and presence status of colleagues, cordless handset and speakerphone with HD voice. The company expands the capabilities of its AvayaLive Video device that blends video collaboration and call handling features with desktop application access to enhance efficiency and interaction with colleagues and customers.

Avaya E159/E169 Media Stations provide simple interface and high quality audio for accessing call-handling features with high user experience. The Media Stations works as SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) desktop devices to support BYOD users that allows them dock their mobile during work hours in office. It also provides support for Apple iPhones and iPads and Samsung Galaxy smart phones and tablets.

In addition, Avaya’s Avaya SDN (Software-Defined Network) Fx networking architecture improves the superior video and application performance.
